Soheila Sohi

Soheila Sohi is a Danish-Iranian contemporary artist based in Denmark.

Her work explores the space between stillness and disruption, where simplicity is interrupted by subtle gestures, inviting the viewer to pause, question and discover their own meaning.

Born in Iran and raised between two cultures, her artistic language is shaped by both Nordic restraint and Persian warmth. Early memories, identity and the passage of time continue to influence her work, whether expressed through abstraction or in The Iranian Girls series.

Before dedicating herself fully to painting, she worked in fashion, photography and design, and lived for many years in Paris, London and Rome. These experiences continue to inform her visual language, bringing together simplicity, balance and quiet tension.

Today she works full-time from her studio in Denmark.
