My Persia

This collection returns to where my artistic journey began.

As a child growing up in Iran, I filled sketchbooks with drawings inspired by the people, colours and culture around me. Although my path later took me far from Iran, those early memories never disappeared—they remained a quiet thread running through my life and my work.

Many years later, I have returned to these memories, not to recreate the past, but to continue the conversation. Some paintings portray the Iranian girls I once drew as a child, while others explore the landscapes, colours and emotions that continue to shape my connection to Persia.

Together, these works reflect memory, identity and belonging—a meeting between past and present, and a reminder that where we begin never truly leaves us.
